Consistency And Persistence Beat Talent. I haven’t been consistent with my blog writing. My excuse traveling and some of that time none to barely any internet connection. So my focus was on sending emails every day.
Part of the time we were on a cross Atlantic cruise on Queen Mary 2. During that time we attended presentations and talks by leading people in different fields from Tina Brown (former editor of Tatler, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and author of The Diana Chronicles) to Harold Evans.
We also saw a few films in the cinema, one of which was “The Founder,” based on the true story of Ray Kroc who became a successful business man and the power behind the success of McDonald’s world wide growth.
The Power of Consistency and Persistence
The Key for me was near the beginning of the movie, Ray was in a hotel room listening to a record (today’s audio). The record was The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale – The quote that was playing was consistency and persistence beat talent at any time.
To succeed in your business you need to consistently work at your business and work on your goals. Persistently carrying on even if life gets in the way.
You also need to know your Why, What and How which I discussed in a previous post.
