Last Friday I went for a lunch with a group of people who all make money online.
This was no seminar, no pitch feast or anything like that. It was the London Lunch organized by Martin Avis, the man behind Kickstarter newsletter, one of the longest running newsletter focusing on making money online niche.
I met quite a few people there all who make money online in different ways.
The most common were the affiliate marketing group, you know where you build your list, build your audience and market to them while creating useful quality content. Some of these even build their own products from cheap front-end products of sub $10 to high-end products of $20,000.
I talked to one affiliate marketer who was doing it differently and had been full-time for the last 7 years. He stayed away from the biz opp and make money online niche. He sent people directly to offers using just paid advertising. At first, he used to send to Cost Per Action (CPA) offers but now he only focused on Cost Per Sale (CPS) offers. He used Clickbank, Maxbounty etc. His main criteria are they must be legal, only be able to use white hat techniques and pass Facebook rules.
The next person I met did Crypto mining. I have no idea what that is about but from the sounds of it very profitable. This is the definition I found about it, Mining programs tap into your computer’s hardware resources and put them to work mining Bitcoin, Litecoin, or another type of cryptocurrency. Oh, and you need to be great at building your own computers to create mini-servers. He now rents a small serviced office space that includes electricity, aircon (as the computers get very hot), and high-speed broadband. This made the wife very happy as the heat in the house was too much for her to bear.
Then I met a lady that created puzzle books, journals and coloring books using Create Space. She mainly outsourced these but did the setup and marketing herself. She also created Software for others to use, this was her day job, but still working for herself. There was a number of others that also created software including an autoresponder.
I met one guy that sold physical products through Amazon using their fulfillment method. He didn’t do drop shipping although has done it in the past. He also did match betting along with another guy who also organizes events for people to attend whether affiliate marketing or match betting.
I had never heard of match betting, I knew there was gambling affiliate niche. So the definition is here, Matched betting (also known as back or lay bet matching, or double betting) is a betting technique used by individuals to profit from the free bets and incentives offered by bookmakers.
And to top it off the food was good too! Even for someone like me following the Slimming World diet.
So if you get an opportunity to met others in the internet marketing sphere, take that opportunity and enjoy making new friends who understand what you are about.
